In each deck, the cards are numbered: - base from 0 to 17, - chapter I from 100 to 148, - chapter II from 200 to 266, - chapter III from 300 to 366, - chapter IV from 400 to 466, - chapter V from 500 to 553, - secrets from 900 to 928 - and goodies 950 and +. To tidy up your box, don't hesitate to use the bags with the counters/tokens to wedge the packs of cards into the box.

A PC must sustain a severe injury if every Action slot (PC cards and Item cards) with a heart icon is covered by a damage token and they are required to assign one more damage token. PCs may voluntarily choose to suffer a severe injury at any time if every Action slot on the front of one PC card is covered by a damage token. Discard all damage tokens from the card and flip it to reveal its back (b side). The revealed Action slot on the reverse side is available for immediate use.

If NPC's AI includes a move instruction and one or more attacks, the NPC moves and stops moving as soon as it can perform its 1st attack (the one following the move instruction on the card).

A PC or NPC moving across a red line suffers 1 damage, with no defense.

If you need to equip your PC with an Item but there's no anchor available to hold it: either drop the already-equipped Item for free from your inventory (if the corresponding Item allows it), or leave the Item you need to equip on the ground.

To resolve an attack, use only the value or text in the center of the card. Unless otherwise indicated, you can simply ignore the rest of the card. You will, for example, be explicitly told when to use the "green arrow" effect.

If a chapter fails, you will replay the same chapter after applying card 926 “Chapter Failure”.

After flipping card 117, when you try to apply the “green arrow” effect on the “Scar” Karma card: If the Karma card is “Scar III” or “Scar II” then apply the “green arrow” effect, otherwise keep the “Scar I” card in your Karma deck. In all cases, shuffle your Karma deck, including the discard pile.

Once card 123b is in the Timeline, all NPCs on the floor ignore the PCs and move towards the boiler in the bathroom. They don't attack the boiler, but wait until he naturally exits the Timeline for the NPCs to act normally again.

When you draw 2 Karma cards and have to choose the one that inflicts the most damage. If you draw (for example) the Karma card 927 Scar II, use the +1 value.

The barbed wire is set up from the large area in 138, not from the hut where you find the action. Characters in the central area (straddling the 2 garden maps) cannot stay in the barbed-wire area. They are pushed back towards the house, in the small area on the right of 137, after turning the card over. All characters (PCs and NPCs) are affected by the barbed wire. But this only adds a movement zone: no one is permanently blocked in the garden.

When card 146b replaces Terrain 103b, distribute all the Characters that were in the central area of the living room to the area to the right of 102b.

If Alkar dies, you must take card 259, if you haven't already.

If an NPC dies from Rat Poison, you must flip the Violence card above Djamal, if it's still there.

Add a hostile token only on neutral NPCs in play. From now on, if a new NPC is to be placed on the field, place a hostile token directly on its card.

"if possible" instruction on card 327b may be missing. If you can't apply an instruction because the card is no longer in play, you can move on to the next line.

The word “next” may be missing from the bottom of the card, at the end of the last sentence, but this doesn't change the meaning of the card.

There are currently 4 goodies: Festival souvenir, Old comic book, Jolly chimp and Rhino Tape. Only one goody can be added to the PJs' inventory at the beginning of each chapter. If you have more than one, you can play with a different goodie for each chapter, but never more than one in the game at the same time.

Once a goody is in the game, it becomes part of your inventory and is saved like the rest of your Objects.

If you lose a goody, you can't add it again to your inventory during the campaign.
